Emma has a background in home and nursing care that belies her 32 years. Not only does she have 13 years’ experience of caring herself but she grew up in her family’s residential and home care business, which had 90 staff before it was sold to a reputable national company. Mum Jennifer Danson (with Emma) has over 30 years in the care sector and shares Emma’s family values and dedication. She is a valuable team member. Emma says: “Our aim is to help people be independent, giving individuals choice and control with tailor-made services to meet their needs.” Married Emma trained at Lancaster Royal Infirmary and  has wide experience working with Lancashire County Council and private customers, creating individualised quality care and rehabilitation services. She has also worked with primary care trusts in the North West supporting palliative care at home. Bowland Care believe every individual matters and should receive the highest standards of care, respect and dignity. Whether a person needs an hour a week or 24 hours-a-day care, the trained team will use every minute to fulfil the person’s needs respectfully. Bowland Care provide both trained carers and qualified nurses to individuals or residential and nursing homes. As a growing business, Emma looks for special carers and nurses to join her team. She is happy to discuss services or recruitment.
